The team at Emerald Financial Partners has a refreshingly responsive approach to help my business with my tax and accounting needs. I really like their proactive approach, they always advise me so that I have fewer surprises, which is a different approach than the firm I previously used. I enjoy working with them and would highly recommend them, especially for small-medium sized businesses who need a proactive accountant.

To start, I signed up under Valerie (who was helpful), and without my knowledge was then passed onto Christy, who was not the easiest person to work with. Not to mention their front desk staff turnover rate was atrocious. I was with Emerald for many years, until I was advised to make multiple changes to my business, to supposedly save my company money. During this process I was told I owed a lot more money in taxes, and they would not explain the amounts owed in terms a non-accountant would understand it, as a business owner, I'd really like to know where my money is going and why. In turn I was then audited, for the first time in 20 years, and then conveniently sent a letter stating they would not do my taxes anymore. As business owners we put our faith in our accountants to help guide our business and choices, as they are the professionals, we hire them for a reason. Do yourself a favor, ask fellow business owners who they use and are happy with, that's how you'll find a good accountant, not necessarily through Google reviews.

We have been using Emerald Financial for both our business and personal taxes for years. They also provide consultation throughout the year so there are no surprises come tax time. We primarily work with Christy but the entire staff at Emerald is a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

My wife and I finally decided to give up the TurboTax and get some real life assistance and we can confidently say we will never be going back to our old wars. Valerie, Connie, and the rest of the team were amazing from the initial email inquiry we sent. Within about 10 days we wrapped up an in person appointment and taxes were filed. If you are anywhere in the area don't think twice about utilizing any other service! Thanks everyone at QualiTax!
